ANGELS DO EXIST IN WELLINGTON, TEXAS. I was traveling through Texas From Dallas on Hwy 83 and ran out of gas on August 30. My first angel Diane Bohannan ( a local schoolteacher) saw my car on the side of the road. I flagged her down as she was on an errand to her house. She offered to bring us water from her home and offered us a ride into town. Before she got back another pair of angels, Mr & Mrs. Ray Floyd stopped and offered gas from their nearby home and they shared some gas for my car. They said they would follow us to make sure we got to a gas station. I was able to drive into Wellington and fill up my tank. I will always remember all three angels showing so much kindness. I hope to pass it forward sometime soon when I see someone in need. I will never forget Diane and the Floyd's. Thanks to them all. Pamela Germany Duncan, Ok.

Great online edition. I worked at The Wellington Leader when it was printed in what is called "hot metal." Some co-workers were Delores Ward,James Glasscock, Lyndon Crelia, and D.E. Scott.

I checked the movie theaters and noted Wellington's Ritz Theater is missing from the list. I assume an oversight.

The web site is quality. I urge the web master to edit the football games listed on the issue I received.Dated. I scanned the long article from a California-based writer. She failed to provide much of a reason to defame Dick Cheney other than obviously she does not like him. I am not sure this essay or editorial or opinion is constructive or useful. Certainly, history will be kinder to the former Vice-President than this lady, a partisan of the first order. However, do not drop her opinion but suggest balance, not bias, is more instructive since I observe she began commenting on government since 1971.
